How to Make Bulgur Wheat Porridge (Labouyi Ble)

Ingredients:

5 Cups of Water (when cooking the Wheat Ble)
1/2 a Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Pinch of Salt
1 Tsp of Nutmeg
2 Anise Stars
1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
2/3 Cps of Cooked Wheat Ble
1 Can of Evaporated Milk

Instructions:

First you want to start of by blending half of your Wheat Ble. Then get your blended mixture into a strainer over a pot and run it through the strainer. Once your mixture is well strained into the pot add the rest of your Wheat Ble (the one that wasn't blended) and mix. Then add your one can of Evaporated Milk, mix and turn the fire on to medium heat. Let the Ble Porridge sit till it is thick. Once the Ble Porridge is thick add your half a cup of Brown Sugar, one tsp of Nutmeg, two Anise Stars, and one pinch of salt. (mix well between adding each ingredient).Once adding all those ingredients  are added, add your one tsp of Vanilla Extract, and mix once more. Hope you had fun making this recipe! ENJOY ^.^


Tips:

1. You don't have to blend half of your Ble, your choice!
2. If you didn't blend your Ble you can leave it as is when straining it.
3. If you are making this make sure to cook the Wheat Ble the same day, it wont be good if u cook it the night before.
4. When ever cooking something sweet always add a pinch of salt!
